Vinyl Box Sets are a great way to present record collections. The vinyl records inside can be packaged in inner sleeves (solid, die cut, printed or unprinted, thin paper stock or vellum) or in printed LP covers, both of which we can help with. We make the boxes in any size you need but most are 12×12″ variations. If you want to add swag inside, it might be a bit deeper. Top it off with an OBI strip. Consider adding a video panel in the lid!

Vinyl LPs can be made in a variety of ways. We can make a bifold 4pp LP with a swinging sleeve inside, or glue a sleeve to an end panel. Foam panels can also be used to hold media. Should you want a gatefold LP (6pp or 8pp), or custom folding LP, we can make that as well.  2pp LPs are another option. For additional customizing, you may want consider a linen wrap or textured fabric paper.

Side loading boxes are some of our top requests. To make a chipboard box (i.e, rigid), the core material needs to be a sturdy chipboard which is wrapped with printed paper and laminated, or with a special material like linen fabric. In order for us to tool the chipboard, the box has to be a certain width (about 2cm) so you’ll need a few records inside depending on how they are individually packaged (inner sleeves vs LP jackets). An alternative is an artcard slipcase which can be made in any width.

Hardcover Vinyl Books are made with a chipboard core so that they are sturdy and rigid. We can print the outer wrap or wrap them in material. The books usually have inner pages but do have to. Inner pages are made in 4pp increments. Sleeves are a popular way to hold records (or cds) inside the book.

Traditional record albums are side loading LPs, either 2pp or 4pp bifold. We can make these in a variety of materials from a thick artcard to a rigid chipboard depending on the look and feel you are going for. We recommend an inner sleeve for scratch protection.

The great thing about top loading LPs, is that the records doesn’t easily fall out. We can make these in 4pp bifold or 2pp single record covers.
