We make a video player that we embed in the cover of the hardcover video book or notebook. The books can have a magnet sensor to trigger the video to play upon opening, or the video is started by pushing a button. Our video players do not require the internet or a phone signal, so there is no set up involved. We can design this to play one video or multiple videos.
Educational, training, and workshops are three of the top markets for video books and notebooks because the video is delivered alongside written content. Clients record video lessons, sessions, modules or instructions and present them with printed or blank (writeable) pages. The video is updateable, so the product information is always up-to-date. In-field, remote use, and immediate use is easy because no internet or setup is needed.
Hardcover books and notebooks range in size from 5″ to 12″, and can be portrait or landscape layout. Because training or onboarding notebooks often use 8.5×11″ papers, a 9″ tall book works well. Smaller 6×8″ or 5×7″ are more popular for hands on activities. Hardcover books have a chipboard core so they can be wrapped with a linen, fabric paper, or leather material if desired. Notebook binders to hold papers can be metal or plastic, and pockets can be added for other items such as a pencil or usb.
Yes! The usb port allows you to upload new video clips at any time as long as the video structure is the same as the initial programming. For example, if you want 5 videos with 5 video buttons, each one corresponding to a specific video you would want to stick to that same structure (i.e., not 6 videos).
The video screens come in a variety of sizes from a small 2.4inch up to a large 10inch panel so you can chose a size that works well with your design and packaging size. You can learn more about the screens and technical specs on the following page:
